Another peaceful and calm song by Aki Misawa. And I’m getting lazy –bored- at searching pictures.
To be honest, I’ve never listened too much to Aki Misawa. Her voice is smooth and relaxing and overall soothes me but has never been able to hook me up –reason why my knowledge towards what she did is very, very limited. I recommend listening to this song especially if you like calm music, you may find a nice surprise.
Usually I’d talk more about this album and my overall impressions but I simply don’t have it. Rei Kosaka was kind enough to send me this song and the lyrics as well so I was able to listen to “Amnesia”. One of these days I really should try searching for this CD; thanks to some requests, I feel like listening to Aki Misawa more. Though I’m not sure when I’ll have enough time to do it.

“アムネシア”, “Amnesia”.
“まっすぐな | Below”; literally, “Under the direct sunlight”, but, as for me, “direct” sounds just too odd and thus why I’ve changed it with “strong”. Also, about the following line, I’ve seen it as two separated periods “命をうたう” –lit. “sing life”- and “花がゆれる”.
“ここは | This is”; literally, “This is a locked paradise”. Considering how slow-paced and calm the song is, I pretty much believe the most appropriate translation in this case is “lost paradise”. As always though I can be wrong and since this is a themed album –or at least I think it’s a themed album since on the official site there’s written “story/concept by”- I wouldn’t be surprised if this song within the whole context has a completely different meaning.
